Annual academic conference on education organized by 'National Committee on Education and Moral Upbringing' of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria leads by Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky wrapped up in Zaria.
The theme of the conference is, "Knowledge And Moral Upbringing In Nigeria" has began on Saturday's morning 3/4/2021 in the city of Zaria. The program drew attendants from various zones of the 7 zonal regions and chapters of the Movement across the country.
Academicians from various institutions of higher learning presented papers on different subject of talks as regards education and morals.
In the last session of the conference, Dr. Lawan Rogo an experienced physician from virus infection department of Aminu Kano Hospital, Kano state, who spoke on the topic, 'Running School During Pandemic Outbreak; Challenges And Solutions', the session which was led by Malam Abdulkarim Usamatu.
Dr. Lawan spoke at length elaborating some long-lasting solutions measures to be taken particularly during this Covid-19 pandemic that is affecting the progress of education not only in Nigeria but across the globe.
Prof. Isa Hassan Mshelgaru of ABU Zaria made a closing remarks where he shed more lights on the necessary measures need to be applied in running Fudiyya Schools owned by the Movement across the country.
Eventually, Mal. Ibrahim Muhd Potiskum extended vote of thanks especially to the spiritual leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibraheem Yaqoub El-Zakzaky (H), attendants and speakers since the comencement of the conference.
He prayed for the immediate freedom of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky from the hands of tyrants.
Closing speech and prayers were made by Mal. Muhammad Isah Ahmad Kano and Mal. Ibrahim Badawa.
