HIS HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
Ibrahim Al-saffah was the first caliph of the Abbasid dynasty , his full name is Ibrahim Bn Muhammad Bn Abdullahi Bn Abbas Bn Abdulmuddallib Bn Hashim .
He struggled and sieze the power from the hands of the Umayyads dynasty and later became the first caliph of the Abbasid dynasty .
He earned his nick name AL-SAFFAT due to his enormous bloodshed （SAFAKUD-DIMAH ）. He fought against Umayyads and about eigty of them were slain at a feast organised by him.
He reigned for only four （4）years from 132-136 （A.H ）during the period of Imam Abu-Abdullah Ja'afar Bn Muhamad （ASSADIQ ）（A.S ）83-148 （A.H ）.
After his great achivements against Umayyads he was died at an early age of thirty （30）. But before hid death , he nominated his brother Abu Ja'afar Al-Mansur as his successor .
This was the first reign of Abbasid dynasty which later seized back again to Umayyad's dynasty.
