SIGNS/SYMPTOMPS AND PREVENTION OF DIABETES MELLITUS
As we explained the meaning of diabetes mellitus, we are now going to analyse its sighs/symptoms and the ways follow to prevents it.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES MELLITUS
（1）- Loss of weight.
（2）- Excessive hunger and thirst.
（3）- Frequent urination and bed wetting.
（4）- Vision problems.
（5）- Delayed healing of wounds.
（6）- Skin disorders including skin itching.
（7）- General malaise （weakness of the body）.
（8）- Drowsiness and fatigue.

PREVENTION OF DIABETES MELLITUS
The ways to prevents this diseases are；
（1）- Blood and urine tests for diagnosis and early detection should be done routinely.
（2）- Health education and genetic counselling should be provided to both school children and members of community. This genetic counselling is essential to those who are predisposed to the diseases so that they can prevent conditions that will enhance the development of this diseases.
