THE VITAL FIRST AID TECHNIQUES ON DOG BITE AND INSECT STING .

Note the behaviour of the dog, catch the dog and cage it for atleast 7 days. If it is wild, kill it and take the carcase to veterinary hospital for examination .

Blow are the techniques follow to deal for the victim affected by dog bite .

（1）- Wash the wound thoroughly with soap and water for at least 5 minutes . If there is deep wounds , apply direct manual presure to control bleeding ；

（2）- Cover the would with a dressing , pad and firmly bandage.

（3）- Send the casualty to hospital immediately .

 FOR INSECT STING

（1）- Used the flat side of knife, blade or a flat piece of wood to scrape out the embedded string gently .

（2）- Apply a cold compress , ice pack or menthylated spirit to the site in order to reduce pain and swelling .

（3）- Apply zinc calamine lotion to relieve itching .

（4）- Place a coin or key with a hole so that the point of the string is in the middle of the hole. Press firmly against the skin to aid the removal of the string or poison .

（5）- If an allergic reaction develops, send the victim to hospital .
