FIRST AID EQUIPMENTS/MATERIALS

Each of first aider must obtain different kind of first aid equipments to enable him to treat the casualty very success .

Below are the suggested items：

（1）- Sterilized cotton wool；

（2）- Sterilized cotton lint and or guaze ；

（3）- Different sizes of banages；

（4）- Different sizes of crepe bandage；

（5）- Elastoplast ；

（6）- Anticeptic, such as Delton or Milton ；

（7）- Iodine or menthylated spirit；

（8）- Vaseline onitment ；

（9）- Acriflavine solution ；

（10）- Clinical thermometer ；

（11）- Blankets, towels and napkins ；

（12）- Splints （used for fructures and dislocations ）；

（13）- Safety pins, blade ；

（14）- Different sizes of spoons；

（15）- A pair of scissors ；

（16）- Swabs for ointment （these are small pieces of soft , obsorbent materials  used to clean wounds or apply medicine ）；

（17）- First aid record book , biro or pencil ；

（18）- Bowls for dressing ；

       AND SO ON
