THE QUALITIES OF FIRST AIDER AND THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF FIRST AID
There are certain qualities that first aidershould posses if he oe she wants to be successful .
These are qualities include ；
（i ） patience ,
（ii ）resourcefulness ,
（iii ）quick observation,
（iv ）clear thinking and care.
Patience is required in order to be able tocope with any situation kindly and without causing embarrassment.
A first aider should be resourcefulto be able to improvise materials to meet the need.
He or she should be observant in order to be able to detect,the necessary signs which help him or her to diagnoise what is wrong with the patient .
A first aider should think clearly so as to be able to make the patient's condition more comfortable .
A first aider needs to be carefil when giving emergency treatment .
THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF FIRST AID
Blow are the principles.
（i ） Be calm and fast as you approach the vict. Do not expose yourself to unnecessary danger in order to become a casualty too.
（ii ）Be cautious when approaching berning building and cars, smoke or gas polluted rooms, drowning or electrocuted people .
（iii ）Do not move the victim until,you have properly assessed his condition and taken precaution .
（iv ）In any situation , check first for the victim's most vital needs.
（v ）Send the victim to hospital after giving first aid, unless the injury or illness is very trivial.
